BigPhish

BigPhish is a red text emote built from the Japanese characters 無双, read `musō`. The word means peerless or unmatched, and in gaming it can describe a single character mowing through large numbers of enemies.

The English command does not translate or transliterate the Japanese text, which gives BigPhish an unusual name-image pairing. The red 無双 stamp also developed a specific streaming life in Japan through いえブ, a large internet rave that connected viewers during the COVID-era stay-home period. DJKURARA described a culture of repeatedly posting the emote when sets became especially intense, while DJ Sharpnel later called it "無双 a.k.a. BigPhish."

Viewers type BigPhish in Twitch chat for high-energy moments, `musō` jokes, one-versus-many gameplay, or scenes where a player is overwhelming a crowd of enemies. In the いえブ breakcore scene, repeated BigPhish spam became a specific rave-hype tradition.
