BigBrother

BigBrother is an old Twitch face Global whose photographed subject remains unidentified. League of Legends viewers repurposed the face as unofficial Tyler1 shorthand because they thought it resembled him. A 2016 academic study describes that association as a coincidental resemblance rather than a real portrait identity.

Tyler1 chat made the joke explicit. By December 2016, BigBrother appeared at the end of copypastas about his Draven play and rule-breaking persona. A January 2017 copypasta went further, inserting BigBrother between every word of a message mocking the idea of subscribing to Tyler1 `when his emote is free`.

Viewers type BigBrother for old-school Tyler1 and Draven-era callbacks. The joke depends on resemblance; the person in the photograph is not established as Tyler1.
