Awwdible

Awwdible was a Twitch emote created through Audible Australia's partnership with Twitch. The image showed a koala wearing headphones, combining an immediately Australian animal with the act of listening that sits at the centre of audiobooks. Its name is a pun as well: "Aww" matches the cute koala reaction, while the rest of "Awwdible" sounds like Audible.

The collaboration was designed around building a community for audio storytelling on a platform normally associated with live video and games. That made the emote do several jobs at once. The koala localized the campaign to Australia, the headphones explained the audio connection without words, and the pun turned the brand name into something that could function as an ordinary cute Twitch reaction even when viewers were not discussing a specific audiobook.
