Twitch Global Emote
ArsonNoSexy
CurrentThe Origin Story
ArsonNoSexy is one of Twitch's earliest surviving face commands. It was already part of Twitch's face-emote set by October 2011, alongside SSSsss, PunchTrees, UleetBackup and TehFunrun. The tense expression, backward cap and strange compound name have outlived the original story behind the photograph, leaving ArsonNoSexy as one of the platform's more mysterious early globals.
Twitch Plays Pokémon gave the old command a new role in 2017. In Chatty Yellow, recent ArsonNoSexy use could steer Chatot's Chatter toward Bide. The name also escaped ordinary Twitch chat that year when a team called ArsonNoSexy finished third in the Austrian osu! Tournament.
How to Use It
Viewers type ArsonNoSexy in Twitch chat for old-Twitch callbacks and, especially for Twitch Plays Pokémon fans, references to Chatty Yellow's Bide mapping.
